How We Protect Your Data

Encryption in Transit

All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.3 (HTTPS) protocol.

  • Your uploaded documents are encrypted during upload
  • Payment information is secured by Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure
  • Fax transmission uses secure protocols to recipient fax machines

Secure Payment Processing

We use Stripe for all payment processing. Stripe is a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor—the highest level of security in the payment industry.

  • We never store your credit card information on our servers
  • All payment data is handled directly by Stripe
  • Your payment information is encrypted and tokenized

Temporary Storage Only

Your fax documents are stored on our servers only temporarily during the transmission process.

  • Documents are stored in a secure database during processing
  • Access to stored documents is restricted and logged
  • Storage is encrypted and protected from unauthorized access

How Long We Store Fax Content

We believe in minimal data retention. Here's our policy:

During Transmission

Your document is stored temporarily in our secure database while the fax is being processed and sent. This typically takes 1-5 minutes.

After Transmission

Once your fax is successfully delivered, the document file is automatically deleted from our servers within 1 hour.

Failed Transmissions

If a fax fails to send, the document is retained for 24 hours to allow for troubleshooting, then automatically deleted.

Transaction Records

We keep transaction metadata (fax number, page count, timestamp) for 90 days for support and billing purposes.

What Personal Information We Keep

FastFaxNow collects minimal personal information necessary to provide the service:

Email Address

Required to send you fax delivery confirmation and receipts. We do not use your email for marketing without permission.

Fax Number (Recipient)

The destination fax number you provide is logged for transmission records and support purposes.

Transaction Details

Date, time, page count, and transmission status are kept for 90 days for billing and support.

IP Address & Browser Info

Standard web server logs for security and fraud prevention.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

FastFaxNow never sells, rents, or shares your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is used solely to provide the fax service you request.
